Blending Appalachian tradition with themes of community, nature, and resilience, Karen-Eve reminded listeners of the enduring power of stories to connect people to one another and to the land.

A nationally recognized storyteller, fiber artist, and educator, Karen-Eve is the founder and board chair of STEAP (Storytelling, Education, and Arts Programs). Her work has been featured throughout Western North Carolina, where she continues to champion the transformative power of storytelling to inspire, educate, and build stronger communities.
